POWer SET Certification
Training
The purpose of POWer SET Certification is to increase the capacity of outreach workers in Michigan to deliver accurate educational information in a variety of settings, to assist clients in making realistic decisions related to behavior changes, that will reduce or eliminate the transmission of HIV/STDs and/or continued drug use.

Participants
POWer SET Certification was developed specifically for outreach workers in the state of Michigan. However the training is useful for anyone who goes into the community whether on the street, in bars, schools, churches, homes or in neighborhood centers to provide prevention and intervention services for individuals at risk for the acquisition and/or transmission of HIV and/or STDs.
